Flying with a Doubt by Kila Juza
My hair was still wet. My face damp. I could feel the curls bunching up in my short, brown hair. My eyes feel heavy, and I yawn. I trudged toward the lowly lite bathroom and brushed my teeth with blue, minty tooth paste. I slipped into my frog pjama pants and a comfortable white tank top.
"Mom! I'm going to bed now!" I yelled out to my mother, who was most likely chatting on Facebook with her black laptop.
"Okay. Goodnight then!" She called back to me. Minutes later, I heard the door creak, then slam.

K nevermind about that. here it is-
Flying with a Doubt
My hair was still wet, my face damp. I could feel the curls bunching up in my short, brown hair. My eyes are heavy, and I yawn. I lazily got up, and trudged to the lowly lit bathroom and brushed my teeth with minty blue toothpaste. “Mom! I’m going to bed now!” I managed to yell out to my mother, who was still on her shiny, black laptop. “Okay! Goodnight! See ya tomorrow morning!” My mom called back. Minutes later, after I was in my mess of a room, I heard the living door creak, then slam. I knew my mom had left for work. I lay on my bed, waiting to fall asleep. I tossed and turned, but somehow I knew it would be difficult to enter my own personal dreaming realm. I revolved my body toward my colored-on nightstand to see the current time. Restlessly, I read the glowing, crimson numbers. Ten forty-one post meridiem it said. Five minutes slowly pass, and finally, I fell asleep.
It felt like I was floating through the clear sky, even though I couldn’t ever do that. I observed my surroundings. Then I realized where I was. I was at my school, Arthur, by the sand box and the small yellow playground. I glanced down with worry to see two girls in my grade playing with sticks and stones. I flew down- wait. Flew? How could I be flying? I’m only a fifth grade girl. There was no way I could be flying, of all things. I swiveled my head ever so slightly, and nearly fainted. My arms….. They were feathered! And tiny! I carved a wobbly U-turn and soared straight for the medium-sized maple tree by the worn down annex building, which had a small line of huge windows. I fluttered to a flimsy branch, and landed. I looked at the nearest window. The only things I saw were the alphabet, and an owl…then I knew what I have become. An Elf Owl.

No, but I really did have a dream one time that I turned into Gylfie, but I switched it up a bit in here to make it more interesting. I'm working on a story plot for a fan fiction of Primrose's life before her nest burned up, though.

This is one of my first narratives, usually I write expositories. So I'm guessing I'm better at narratives.
